U.S. SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

HCCA International is currently offering a Sponsorship Program with this opportunity for sponsorship for individuals on F1 Visas (International/Foreign Student Visa) who have recently graduated or preparing to graduate from an approved nursing program in the United States. (Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree).

You may currently have an OPT or your advisor will soon be applying for your OPT (Optional Practical Training). This is a temporary employment authorization that gives F1 (International/Foreign Student Visa) Visa holders an opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to practical work experience. Authorization for optional practical training is granted by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS)- formerly known as the Immigration and Naturalization Service or INS-and can take at least 90 days and frequently up to 120 days to obtain.

OPT Eligibility:

must be in a full time student status for at least one full academic year preceding the submission of your OPT application
be maintaining valid F-1(International/Foreign Student Visa) status at the time of the application and
intend to work in a position directly related to your major field of study

There are documents that we will require to validate your eligibility as follows:

I-20 Form issued by University
I-94 Departure Record and copy of F-1(International/Foreign Student Visa) Visa (this will be stamped in Passport)
Current Passport from home country
Current OPT (optional practical training) Work Authorization and I-765 Application for Work Authorization Receipt Notice
Social Security Number
NCLEX Result and current U.S. License
Copy of Nursing Diploma
