Preparation of HCCA International nurses is competency driven, an approach which is consistent with the highest standards of nursing care in America. The ability of our nurses to provide safe care is always a top priority. We evaluate our nurses in three areas as part of their professional role as a registered nurse - critical thinking, technical, and interpersonal skills. An individual development program is then formulated for each nurse. This program, which requires both self-study and instruction by HCCA International staff, is completed before departure for the nurses’ full time assignments.

Rest assured that your HCCA nurse will arrive licensed, confident and ready to work. In addition to handling all the immigration paperwork, we prepare our nurses to pass all the required examinations, such as English and NCLEX® exams.

After your international nurse arrives, HCCA provides a significant level of support to both the hospital and to the nurse. We assure that the transition is smooth so that our nurses have every opportunity to be successful. We support our nurses through the transition with acculturation training and getting them and their family set up and acclimated to their new community.
